I could remember my father, he told me that I have a half sister of 15, what was he talking about, was she In the dungeon? Or was she from a different KIngdom? . . . .

Father just died and his funeral is at Calami where he gave me strict instructions to jump the girl that comes to find me, I don’t get it?

Wearing a silk blue/green dress and with plaited leather reaching across my shoes my maid plaited my almost as long as Rapunzel's golden hair. I was ready for Calami.

As I got in the carriage the guard was saying suspiciously that we needed to go pick two people up so we went into town and when I saw all the different colours and people I was startled especially when we stopped at a White walled and purple slanted tiled roofed church.

As the two people climbed in a girl and a priest, the girl said

“ I am Maria and y-you are the princess, well of course you're the princess with your tiara hehe.” I stared before replying with “who are you?”. She seemed nervous“ I'm Maria,you-your. . . . sister” Maria admitted. “Really Yay!”I  squealed,”well really I'm your half sister”. “Still,I’ve got a sister” I was overwhelmed with excitement.

“We are at Calami Miss” the guard replied.

“ Thank you.”

There were hundreds of different ( Water, Oak Wood, Ice, & Fire) Kingdom Rulers at king Lucifurs funeral and they all gave down gifts from their own kingdom. Suddenly all the fire kingdom including the dumb stepmother who rushed home from holiday just for the funeral accidentally almost hit one of the kings in a water bubble which almost popped.

After Cara & Maria Jumped the golden fire Maria felt like she could feel my thoughts,feelings and even emotions,The first attachments were always hard  Maria was struggling to get used to it. Suddenly Maria handed me a folded piece of paper I read. My Dear Maria, please do not judge our actions for we were young and restless,we thought it was best but I always loved you as well as Remona. You must be bonded with the princess to become queen,our kingdom needs you more than ever. I have one request please find my assassin,he fled for oakwood forest. Love your true father,king Lucifer “Once this is all over we are going to find the Asson” exclaimed Maria.

“I’ve always wanted to be a ninja.” spelled Cara.

Maria replied with “that doesn't mean we are going to be ninjas”

“But why can't I be a ninja”  Cara said shortly.

”Fine you be a ninja but I want nothing to do with it” Maria replied in a whatever attitude.

In a couple of weeks a coronation was being planned and Cara & Maria were getting ready to go find the passion, “Tada” said Cara as she showed  Matia her ninja costume. “ I made it myself “ “What is that?” Maria screamed “ My pink fluoro ninja costume with a built in fluoro orange parachute and fluro yellow Nike sneakers,” Maria sighed heavily putting her hand on her head and slowly moving it down to her chin.

“ you have no sense of fashion” Maria mumbled “ why don’t you put some glitter on it” she suddenly announced  sarcastically “ you think it would be better with glitter?”

As Maria and Cara were starting out the gates  Cara shouted YAY!

“IT WAS TIME FOR AN ADVENTURE”

And sent servants running from every corner of the palace.

At Ember palace nothing is ordinary, there is always something to look forward to. As Cara sat in the long grass, dreaming of having a sister she smelt the fire Catacorns from their stable, she could smell the sweetpeas blooming in the sun, and the Raspberry Fizzy fountain, in the garden.

Cara could hear the sounds of birds and bees, the fire Catacorns meowed softly and the pouring fizzy fountain made a fizzing sound as more went in and more went through the tubes to the top again. Cara decided she wanted a drink so she went to the fountain and got a drink. As she drunk she could taste all types of fruit.

Cara looked around her, and saw the lime grass surrounding the stables for the fire Catacorns,  the magic of the garden stood out like a sore thumb , they were also her protectors. The fairies in the fairy house thought that this place was as magical as the outside world a place full of life and love.The calm atmosphere  was calm and soothing but the weather was hot and sticky, but then it would be hot because they were coming into summer. Suddenly…

“Cara!!!”

“Yeah What”

“You‘re father, He’s dying”   

“WHAT!!!!”

“ Come with me, he wants to tell you something before he dies.”

“Darling you have a 15 year old sister (Cough)”

Glass Blowing

Maybe you have heard about glass blowing maybe not well I am here to tell you all that you need to know, like how hot the fire is, or how they add the colour.

What is glass blowing

Glass blowing is where you make amazing creations out of molten glass.

How hot is the furnace?

The furnace is a fire that at all times sits at 1060 C. It runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

What is in the furnace.

Inside the furnace, there is a ceramic pot that holds a whole lot of molten glass and by a whole lot I mean 120 litres that is one wheelie bin of hot hot hot glass.

How they add the colour

Sometimes glass is coloured and to make coloured glass they use Metals and Minerals and then that glass is smashed into tiny little pieces then they add it to the clear glass then wala you have coloured glass.

What is the Glory Hole?

the Glory Hole second furnace it sits at 1200 C. it is to heat up the glass as it cools down very quickly.

Can you recycle glass? No, sadly you can’t once the colour is in you can not recycle any of the glass but if there is no colour then you can.

he just finished his stunning Journey up the tall steep mountain He decided to sit down on a  rough rock it felt similar to his Cobble stone bench top at home. Crash!!! he suddenly Heard, Bang!!!Rocks and boulders started to tumble behind him, he thrust his staff down on the ground and suddenly everything halted, he looked over the ledge and saw humans they were so small they looked more like ants, they were firing cannonballs at the Mountain.

Family: You might think that a glow worm is a worm but actually it's a maggot of a mosquito-fly thing

Prey: Glow worms are omnivores but they eat quite a lot of meat.The Glow worm goes for things like slugs & snails and other insects

Glow: The blue/green  glow of a glow worm attracts flying bugs and then they  come so close they touch the silk get stuck and the glow worm eats its prey.  

AKA: Arachnocampa Luminosa.

Habitat: Undisturbed woodland and caves.

Babies : 75 all at once

Description: A glow worm is the larvae stage in the life cycle a two winged insect.

Predator: Spiders, Birds, Centipedes.

My Life Stranded On An Island With My Family

My Mum and Dad were driving the boats as we followed behind on some water ski’s. We were having the time of our life’s until are arch enemies shot bombs onto the side of our boats, and there horrible children shot some on the bottom of our ski’s. Ten, nine, eight, seven... BOOM,BOOM,BOOM,BOOM that was Mum, Dad, my brother and I.

At first we all thought we were dead but then we felt a THUD, it was like we were being bounced like a ball. I blinked and saw the sun and then I saw the sand it was golden and scratchy I sat up slowly and saw my family they sat up and looked around.

Once we all stood up my Dad took charge “GET TO WORK BUILDING A SHELTER!!!” we  built a very big shelter it evan had fire pit so Mum could cook us yummy island dinner mmm mmm scrumptious.

The first night was frightfully scary and it was extremely hot, but we all managed to survive the night. In the morning I could smell the sweet smell of coconut. I woke up and glanced, I could see my Mum cooking away in the fire pit, she was cooking coconut we had coconut cutlery and bowls and leaf plates.After breakfast I washed the dishes and did some running I wanted to stay fit but not too fit.

The first couple of weeks were difficult but once we all got into a routine we were fine.On the third week something really bad happened the lovely shelter that I came to love fell down, luckily no one was hurt, still it was like a tragedy seeing that lovely lovely shelter go away and and fall down it was horrible when I saw it.

  A month has gone by and were still stuck on the Island. We light fire everyday  but no Planes come at all, I am getting sick of staying in one place I mean I’m 12 years old and my broooother is 9 and a half.I just wanna  go home. Does anybody know how bad it is no they think this place could become a holiday resort which could be a good idea if this place wasn’t made mostly with sand and just saying this makes me more scared because global warming is coming and some idiot just elected Donald Trump (AKA ) Donald Duck lol😃.

It's been a year and I've given up hope until my brother starts to shout, and I saw a helicopter I race into the shelter to find something that would reflect the sun I found my mother's mirror I start reflecting, the helicopter saw us and landed he ask us how we got here and where are parents were then he told us he would call the rescue service, YAY. the rescue service came and said to get are parents and once they saw my Mum and Dad he screamed because we had been lost for a year so we told them everything.

We are finally home all of are family are here waiting and our enemies because we got to choose their punishment . It was nice sleeping in a proper bed that night. In the morning I had a nice breaky of rice bubbles it was so different not to have coconut that I splashed my food with my spoon it was so good to be home.Now it is time to punish the carlo family are enemies we all said together “ how can we punish you I know go spend a year on the same island we have taken down our sletter and brought it here so you have to start from scratch😂”. Well now that everyone is happy other than the carlo family we can go and see the Martins when they're next in danger.
